 Family Ministries   The family is one of the best illustrations God has of what He is like. A family that is spiritually healthy will manifest characteristics of humility, patience, hope, and loving acceptance (AdventSource). "The greatest evidence of the power of Christianity that can be presented to the world is a well-ordered, well disciplined family" (The Adventist Home, Page 32) Under the umbrella of Longview Heights Family Ministries are the following: Couples Ministry, Men's Ministry, Seniors Ministry, Singles Ministry, and Women's Ministry. Family Ministry Leader - Herbert Brown Sr. A native of Memphis Tennessee, Bro. Brown was baptized in 1952. Throughout his tenure at Longview Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church, Bro. Brown has served in the following positions: Missionary Volunteer Leader, Pathfinder Leader, Custodian/Alcy, Alcy School Board Member, Sabbath School Teacher, Sabbath School Superintendent, Elder, and Head Deacon.
