The "SACRED CLASSICAL CONCERTS" are presented by the Arts and Archives Ministry of the Longview Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church in the spring and fall each year. Each concert has presented accomplished artists and they are free and open to the public.

The concept for the concerts was developed out of the desire to preserve and promote hymns, spirituals, classical, and sacred music in an enjoyable and enriching environment. In the attempt to pass on the rich history and tradition of such music, a "Budding Artist" is presented as part of the program of each concert.

We believe that the formal presentation of the concerts leads to the appreciation of the spiritual and social impact of this type of music. In addition to the purely uplifting and ennobling qualities of the music, some even believe that it has a positive effect on intellectual development and may even influence the reduction of criminal activities in the community.

Thank you for your interest and continued support of the Arts & Archives Ministries.
